Mangalore Internet City

Kanara Entrepreneurs Ltd (KEL), the promoters of Mangalore Internet City, was set up in Dubai in 2004 (registered as a company in BVI). Kanara Entrepreneurs is a non-profit organization that promotes entrepreneurship among individuals from the coastal belt of Karnataka state, specifically the erstwhile South Canara region now known as Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, and aims to provide opportunities for sustainable development. The objective is to participate in the development of the district, which is fast becoming an industrial hub.

It is envisaged that the proposed activities of Mangalore Internet City will provide opportunities for several entrepreneurs to set up new businesses as well as employment opportunities to people residing in Mangalore, thereby augmenting the economic growth of this region.

The company has 75 acres of private land in Shaktinagar, which is within the Mangalore City Corporation limits. This land is in close proximity to the central business areas of the city and is midway between Mangalore Airport and the city. The company desires to use the land in a manner that well suits Mangalore’s current and future requirements.
